Hi, I'm Ashley! A Northern California native who now resides in the Netherlands with my Dutch husband. Photography has always been a passion of mine, ever since I got my first camera on my fourteenth birthday (I used, uh, a LOT of film rolls, to my parents' wallet's dismay).

 

My other interests include animals, traveling, good food, and weight lifting. I'm currently a PhD candidate at Leiden University. I've traveled to 39 countries so far, and my goal is to visit at least one new country every year.

I started Ashley Wilkinson Photography officially in 2013. For me, photography is all about capturing moments and seeing things from a new perspective. I believe in quality over quantity.
